Scotia Bank Charity Challenge 2019
The MGH Lupus Clinic has been caring for patients for 40 years. Lupus is a difficult and unpredictable autoimmune illness that can affect any organ system in the body, and can be complicated to manage. The Montreal General Hospital Lupus Clinic Team is walking and running to raise funds for lupus research, so this amazing, world-class team can continue to do their outstanding clinical work and research. All funds will go directly to the Singer Family Fund for Lupus Research at the MGH, and will be generously matched by the MGH Foundation.

Get your running shoes laced up! It’s time to sign up for the 2019 Scotia Bank Charity Challenge (SCC)! The MGH Lupus Clinic team is ready to join forces and raise funds to support the Singer Family Fund for Lupus Research at the Montreal General Hospital. Last year, the Clinic’s team of over 20 participants raised nearly $12,000! And each dollar raised was matched by the MGH Foundation. This year, the team wants to do even better, and they need your to help achieve this goal.
The SCC is a walk, run, or roll that caters to charities. Participants are invited to join the MGH Lupus Clinic team, and through an easy-to-use website, register, and raise funds for the Clinic. Once again, Dr. Evelyne Vinet and Wendy Singer are heading up the team.
When: April 27 (April 28 for the 21k)
Where: Île Notre-Dame
What: 21k, 10k, or 5k run, 5k walk, 5k stroll, kids run. Wheelchairs are welcome!
If you’d like to join the team but aren’t up to all of the activity, that’s fine, the team invites you to join them, build their community and fundraise for our clinic’s important research.
