Annual Report: the Impact of Your Donation

Once again this year, we wish to express our immense gratitude for the support given to CODE LiFE: The Montreal General Hospital Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our Foundation manages one of the largest healthcare funds in Quebec.

In reviewing this annual report, you will see the impact of the dollars raised by the community, which have helped the MGHF support numerous high-level research programs, purchase cutting-edge equipment, and meet the priority needs of our medical teams.

Thanks to our 7,000 donors, the MGHF raised $14.3M during the 2017-2018 fiscal year. In addition, we provided $11M to support research and teaching and $5M to improve patient care.

We would be remiss not to mention the launch of CODE LiFE, the very representation of our commitment to supporting life, its preciousness and fragility. This new emblem of the MGHF reflects the urgency that drives our medical teams and mobilizes us to raise funds to provide vital support for vital care.

Our visual identity is evolving, but the role of our foundation remains just as vital as ever. With the support and involvement of our donors, we continue to invest in the advancement of medical knowledge and the clinical care for our community.

Once again, on behalf of our patients and their families, and everyone at the hospital, we are truly grateful for every donor’s support and generosity.
